Precision & Body Awareness
Rehabilitative Pilates (often referred to as "clinical Pilates") is a precise, joint-friendly form of exercise that focuses on posture, breathing, body awareness, and controlled strength. The goal is to rebuild physical resilience following injuries, surgeries, or extended breaks – and to actively prevent future issues. The focus lies on the deep core muscles, safe movement control, and the elimination of compensatory movement patterns.
Mat or Reformer
Depending on your goals, you can train with us on the mat or in a one-on-one session using the Pilates Cadillac Reformer. Mat work focuses on body weight and core stability. On the Cadillac Reformer, spring resistance can provide guided support for movements or offer targeted challenges – often a sensible approach during the early stages of conditioning, when safety and precision are crucial.
Build up step by step
Sensibly restore mobility, stabilize the core and relieve the spine, eliminate poor posture and compensatory movement patterns, and gradually increase movement confidence and resilience.

How we use rehabilitative Pilates in therapy
Rehabilitative Pilates is particularly well-suited for safely rebuilding strength after physical strain, injury, or a break – and for establishing long-term stability in everyday life. This is often the stage where conventional training is still too demanding, yet remaining inactive is no longer an option. We carefully assess exactly what your core and musculoskeletal system need right now – and build up from there.
Common topics we help with
Controlled power
Targeted strengthening of the core, pelvic floor, and back – focusing on proper form rather than quantity.
Build mobility
Gradually improve range of motion – without overexertion, with clear progression.
Posture & Movement Control
Develop stability suitable for everyday life – for posture and movements that hold up even under load.
Dissolve avoidance patterns
Recognize established patterns and compensations and influence them in a targeted manner—before they become a permanent state.
Respiration & Regulation
Regulate stress and tension through breathing and movement rhythm – without the wellness-speak.
After Rehab & Injury
Rehabilitation after surgery, injury, or a long break – joint-friendly, precise, and at a pace that suits you.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Didn't find what you were looking for? We would be happy to assist you personally.
What is rehabilitative Pilates?
A precise, joint-friendly workout focusing on the core, posture, breathing, and safe movement execution –featuring a clear structure and a logical progression.
What is the difference between mat Pilates and the Pilates Cadillac Reformer?
On the mat, you work primarily with your own body weight. On the Cadillac Reformer, spring resistance can either assist or challenge your movements – often helpful for achieving precise, guided movement during one-on-one training.
How do I get started – private sessions, a class, mat work, or equipment?
Briefly describe the objective and the initial situation – we will discuss together which format makes sense.
Will I get exercises to do at home?
For mat training, yes – you receive a short routine that can be incorporated into your daily life. With the Cadillac and Reformer, we provide specific guidance and, for example, stabilizing exercises that can be performed without the equipment.
Is this a prevention course (Section 20)?
Depending on the course format, a subsidy may be available. We would be happy to clarify the details.
What should I bring to the first appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing and bring any relevant medical reports or test results, if available. Note: As some individuals are sensitive to scents, we ask that you refrain from wearing strong perfume. Please feel free to contact us if you are unsure.
