Our team at the Lämmerhirt practice in Frankfurt

What unites us is our background in professional ballet and sport. Years of experience working with the body, movement, and physical demands continue to shape the way we work at the Lämmerhirt practice in Frankfurt – giving us a keen sense of movement quality and an understanding of what the body truly needs. We combine physiotherapy, training, and GYROTONIC® under one roof.

Jennifer & Martin Lämmerhirt

Before we were therapists, we were dancers. That experience shaped not just how we move, but how we think about healing. Injuries were part of daily life on stage – and with them came a realization: true healing doesn't come from standing still, but from movement.

It was this conviction that led us to found the Gyrotonic Frankfurt Center in 2009, followed by Praxis Lämmerhirt in downtown Frankfurt in 2013.

That belief still drives everything we do today. Our goal is to guide people from the therapy table back into movement – from passive to active. We believe real healing begins the moment people start to trust themselves again: their bodies, their strength, their mobility. Not as therapists who simply treat, but as guides who empower.
